WE’VE MOVED and are no longer boarding dogs.\u00a0 We sold our Dixmont property and have moved to our acreage on the lake in Lowell, ME where we built our new home and kennel!\u00a0 \u00a0After more than 20 years of 24\/7\/365 we are cutting back so we can devote more time to training and hunting our own dogs and enjoying a little down time on the water.\u00a0 Wassookeag Retrievers will continue as a hobby kennel, training our own Retrievers and participating in various AKC show and performance venues around New England with our own dogs.<\/p>\n

**While we will no longer offer board and train programs we will continue to offer a limited number of classes, training consultations and grounds rental at our beautiful new training grounds in Enfield, ME!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>

We are so proud of the business we built in Dixmont.\u00a0 Our\u00a0boarding clients came from throughout Maine and New England because they knew that WASSOOKEAG RETRIEVERS was absolutely THE BEST PLACE to leave\u00a0their\u00a0pup when they went away.\u00a0 Always owner operated, all of our boarders were well cared for by us – never employees.\u00a0 We have enjoyed every minute of caring for each dog as if it were our own.\u00a0 We took care of many of these retrievers from puppyhood through old age and their owners\u00a0have become\u00a0our good friends.\u00a0 THANK YOU!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>
